Family Campout

Join us for a fun week with family! We've reserved the group campground at beautiful Laverne Park. So get ready for some sun and fun. Sites are $20/night. 

Most of the activities will not have a time listed. Not all equipment for all activiteis will be provided, so you may need to bring any items you will need to participate (i.e. - softball gloves, bats, bicycles, ectc.) Scheduled events include a Scavenger Hunt on Friday evening and Movie Night on Sautryday evening. We are encouragin everyone to bring your favorite board games to share during free time in the pavillion.

For meals this year, we are doing theme potluck style dinners. The themes are as follows:

Wednesday - General Potluck

Thursday - Mexican

Friday - BBQ - The church will supply burgers and dogs, you bring side dishes (salads/deserts/sides)

Saturday - Asian

Individual families are responsiblel to provide their own food. Breakfast and lunch are on your own so plan accordingly.

COFFEE!!!!! will still be provided in the pavillion each morning.

Clean up help is needed after meals in the pavillion. Please see Kim McCoy to volunteer.

Please note that dinner prep time is 5pm. Dinner starts promptly at 6pm. Hungry campers need to eat. If you are late, we will pray and start without you. Please be courteous and plan accordingly.

Worship and Devotion will be held each evening so bring your bible and notebook.

For safety reason, we ask that only adults and authorized teens tend the main campfire. Also, due to a close call a few years ago, we ask that children not be allowed to walk down to the main park along the road because of traffic speed and narrow shoulders on the road. Please transport them by car.
